Sabine Hertig (1982*) combines diverse print media and merges them till the extent of full immersion. She visualizes todays vast, yet ephemeral collective visual memory - she even manages to fathom the chaos of the internet. At distance, the visual structure of her work creates the impression of a painting, which gradually dissolves into subtle mosaic of scraps when viewed up close. Its a playful discourse on the boundaries between visibility and the realm of things invisible.

Susanna, Robert, Mariam and Hekekyan from the Little Singers of Armenia live next to one of the largest construction sites in Yerevan. They have all lived and/or worked for years at this location in the center of Armenias capital. Susanna lives in a construction trailer in the backyard of the house where she used to live. A wall of one of Robert and Miriams rooms is directly alongside the excavation pit. The Little Singers of Armenias clubrooms are located in a part of the building, which recently started to collapse. These neighbors all have one thing in common: their living situation and place of work are literally insecure. Aysor or vaghesooner or later they too may give way. In Yerevan for the Time Being, observations on the construction site are juxtaposed with the living situation of three neighbors. The film also portrays people involved in the construction site: construction workers, the project architect and the site manager. In addition, the melancholy microcosm of their precarious living situation is revealed, which in times of gentrification must be defended. Everything is temporary, everything has its moment in timebut the lifetimes of cities, neighborhoods, houses and their inhabitants have different durations.
