Der Körper ist Ort ständiger Auseinandersetzung in persönlichen,
sozialen, politischen und auch wissenschaftlichen Kontexten. Neue
Entwicklungen in der Medizin, den Genderwissenschaften oder den sozialen
Medien fordern unsere Gesellschaft heraus, das Verhältnis zum Körper
immer neu auszuhandeln. Unser Festival widmet sich deshalb den
politischen, wissenschaftlichen und gesellschaftlichen Fragen, die sich
rund um den Körper stellen: Wie entstehen Schönheitsideale? Warum geht
der weibliche Körper bei der Datenerhebung oft vergessen? Was passiert
bei DNA-Veränderung und welche Auswirkungen hat das auf die Bioethik?

Yerevan for the Time Being shines a light on the living
situation and everyday life of people living in the immediate vicinity of a
major construction site in Yerevan, ArmeniaÂ’s capital city. The documentary
reveals how the residents survive in this precarious situation, how they defend
their living space and protect themselves against gentrification—or come to
terms with it.

November 2020: Das Team des Kulturlokal Coq d'Or in Olten schmiedet
Pläne. Das Lokal darf momentan unter Einschränkungen offen haben und
befindet sich gerade in den Endvorbereitungen für ein Ad-hoc-Programm.
Der Film gibt Einblick in die von Covid19 geprägte Situation des
Kulturlokales und seiner kreativ-kollektiven Krisenbewältigung. Eine
Geschichte über kulturelle Entschleunigung, Freiräume für Rückbesinnung
auf das Wesentliche und Gedankenreisen in eine ungewisse Zukunft.

and Denny, two young men, are the protagonists of this 12 part series, they both

Sabine Hertig (1982*) combines diverse print media and merges them till the extent of full immersion. She visualizes todayÂ’s vast, yet ephemeral collective visual memory - she even manages to fathom the chaos of the internet. At distance, the visual structure of her work creates the impression of a painting, which gradually dissolves into subtle mosaic of scraps when viewed up close. ItÂ’s a playful discourse on the boundaries between visibility and the realm of things invisible.
