Brief synopsis
Sami has successfully integrated into Switzerland with his restaurant “Pittaria” and experiences a sense of belonging that he missed in Israel as part of the Palestinian minority. Nevertheless, he is characterized by a longing for his country of origin and is confronted with an inner conflict. The film tells the story of Sami's journey through two homelands to find himself.

Extended synopsis
Sami has successfully integrated into Switzerland with his restaurant “Pittaria”. He processes his migration in a poetic short story. In Solothurn, he experiences a sense of belonging that he missed in Israel as part of the Palestinian minority. Nevertheless, he is characterized by a longing for his country of origin and is confronted with an inner conflict. During a visit to Nazareth, Sami realizes that his memories of the Orient of his youth no longer correspond to reality. The film tells the story of Sami's journey through two homelands to find himself.
