The Space of Fragments

This long-term documentary follows Swiss artist Sabine Hertig as she continually develops her work, which spans pencil and watercolour drawings, painting and collage. For her, thinking in terms of collage means establishing relationships between parts and the whole across different media. But it also means examining the whole from the perspective of a part: the collage as a ‘form of thought based on reflective seeing’.
