Simon Denzler works as a freelance cinematographer for documentary and fictional projects at a national and international level. His work includes short films, documentaries, series and music videos. In addition to his freelance work, Simon teaches together with Jonas Schaffter in the annual Master Video Tools module at the Hochschule für Gestaltung in Basel. Simon studied film at the Zurich University of the Arts and graduated with a bachelor's degree in film with a specialisation in camera.
At point de vue, he is responsible for renting video and audio equipment, providing technical advice and maintaining the infrastructure.
As a cameraperson, Simon works at point de vue for commissioned films and recordings. He has been a cooperative member at point de vue since 2020.
